1. Orientation Peer Advisor (January 2022 - October 2024)
As an Orientation Peer Advisor (OPA), I demonstrated exceptional leadership, communication, and event-planning skills, worked to help incoming students transition smoothly into university life and foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Welcome Session Facilitation
  Developed and facilitated interactive welcome sessions for incoming first-year students, introducing them to the JMU campus culture, academic resources, and social life.
   

• Group Discussions and Icebreakers
  Led small group discussions and icebreaker activities to help new students build relationships.
   

• Campus Resource Presentations
  Designed and presented workshops for students and families on topics such as academic success, mental health resources, student organizations, and campus safety to help new students navigate university life.
   

• Peer Mentorship
  Provided one-on-one support to new students, offering guidance on course registration, time management, and balancing academics with extracurricular activities.
   

• Event Planning and Coordination
  Worked with fellow OPAs to organize and execute orientation events.
   

2. Adventure Service Specialist (August 2023 - Present)
In the role of Adventure Service Specialist, I support JMU’s outdoor recreation programs by providing opportunities for students to engage in adventure-based activities while fostering personal growth and teamwork.

• Outdoor Trip Planning and Coordination
  Assist in planning, organizing, and executing outdoor adventure trips (hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, etc.) for JMU students, ensuring safety and enjoyable experience.

• Student Development and Mentorship
  Supported students in developing outdoor skills, confidence, and leadership abilities, offering mentorship and guidance throughout the adventure experience.
